If you told us five years ago that we'd create a platform specifically for life transition coaches, we would have raised an eyebrow and asked "Why would we ever build that?"
But here we are—and honestly, it makes perfect sense.

From Chaos to Clarity: Our Own Transition Story
I spent years managing Fortune 500 projects with 150 browser tabs open (yes, really), answering urgent calls while on other important calls, and telling my daughter "not right now" more times than I care to admit. Sound familiar?
By day, Chad and I were building technology solutions for companies like Disney and Genentech. By night and weekends, we were working on our startup. We were living the exact life so many of your clients describe: successful on paper, but completely burned out and disconnected from what actually mattered.
The turning point came at the beginning of 2025. I made the leap from consulting to focus full-time on Sidkik. And for the first time in decades, I gave myself permission to truly step away—for nine weeks, I walked 600 miles through remote Japanese farmland and mountains, visiting 88 Buddhist temples.
Those 42 days of walking taught me something profound: there are a hundred different ways to reach the same destination, and every path can lead to transformation—but you have to have faith enough to take the first step.
Why We Chose to Serve Life Transition Coaches
When I returned from that pilgrimage, something was crystal clear. As we entered our 50s and began designing our own next chapter, we realized we weren't the only ones navigating major life transitions.
We looked at the landscape and saw what was happening: the more that technology & AI transform traditional work, the more people need the guidance you provide through all kinds of life transitions—career changes, retirement planning, relationship shifts, health challenges, spiritual awakenings. Additionally, we saw coaches like you trying to "duct tape" together multiple platforms just to manage client relationships, deliver programs, and scale beyond 1:1 work.
Most importantly, we recognized that you're not just helping people make one specific change—you're helping them build bridges between who they were and who they're becoming, regardless of what life transition they're navigating. And we know something about building bridges.
The Technical Foundation You
Can Trust
Between the two of us, we bring over 50 years of experience building technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies and scrappy startups alike.
Chad became a full-stack developer and architect and tech VP, working everything from off-track betting systems to biotech innovations at companies like Genentech/Roche. He's that rare technologist who can build systems that actually scale—he repurposed our secure financial compliance framework into the rock-solid foundation that Sidkik runs on today.
I bring an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship, plus decades of experience as a user interface expert who moved into leadership roles managing $10MM projects in several different verticals, from financial technology to the outdoor activities market.
But here's what really matters: We've been serial entrepreneurs for decades, building and growing small businesses from the ground up. We understand the challenges of wearing every hat, managing cash flow, and trying to scale without losing your soul. We've mentored many startups and watched businesses thrive when they find the right systems—and struggle when they don't.
What This Means for Your
Practice
You don't have to choose between deep, transformational work and a sustainable business. With Sidkik, you can:
- Reclaim your time from administrative chaos and tool juggling, so you can focus on the client conversations that energize you
- Scale your impact without sacrificing the personal touch that makes your coaching transformational
- Build recurring revenue through programs and digital offerings that work while you sleep
- Attract ideal clients with systems that nurture relationships and demonstrate your expertise
- Create breathing room in your schedule for your own life transitions and personal growth
The result? You get to do more of what you love (transforming lives) and less of what drains you (managing technology). Your clients get a more professional, supportive experience. And you finally have a business that grows with you instead of overwhelming you.
Building Your Bridge to
What's Next
Sidkik isn't just another software platform—it's the bridge between your current 1:1 practice and the scalable, sustainable business that lets you impact more people without burning out.
We believe in working smart, not just working hard. We believe in creating space for the things that matter: deep conversations with clients, meaningful transformations, and yes—the freedom to take a walk on the beach or plan that trip you've been putting off.
Your expertise deserves a platform that grows with you, supports your clients' journeys, and gives you back the time and energy to do what you do best: guide people through the most important transitions of their lives.
Because we know that helping others find their path forward is incredibly rewarding work—but it shouldn't cost you your own peace of mind.
Our Vision: Amplifying
Transformation
The pilgrimage showed me something profound about purpose. Walking those 600 miles in contemplation made it clear that my next chapter needed to be about more than just building software—it needed to be about creating meaningful technology that helps people find their perfect life in this increasingly chaotic world.
We see Sidkik as a vision: the more life transition coaches we can support, the more transformations we can help create around the world. Every coach who uses our platform to scale their practice means dozens, even hundreds more people getting the guidance they need to navigate their own life transitions with clarity and confidence.
This is deep, meaningful work. You're not just changing individual lives—you're creating ripple effects of transformation that touch families, communities, and generations.
At Sidkik, we're building the bridge so you can focus on helping others cross it. Because when more people find their path to authentic, aligned living, we all benefit from a world with more purpose, more fulfillment, and more human flourishing.
